Fellowship Riders News
New Affiliate – Trailhead Church, Graham, NC
Ron Kidwell, President of Fellowship Riders, along with the Board of Directors, would like to welcome Fellowship Riders of Alamance County at Trailhead Church in Graham, NC to the family of Fellowship Riders ministries.
Brian Hurdle, the director of this new ministry, and I had been seeking the Lord for a year; asking where He would open the door for a motorcycle ministry; and it is in the Lord’s perfect time and place that He has opened that door at Trailhead Church.
As Brian and I were talking immediately after the church leadership had approved and blessed this new ministry, the Lord said “Just as I commanded a Sabbath rest for the land, the land has rested and now it is time to plant for the harvest.”
So with that Word, we welcome Fellowship Riders of Alamance County and Trailhead Church – Powered by Christ – “to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Light Up The Hills Rally : July 6-9, 2017
Light Up The Hills Rally
July 6-9, 2017
Buffalo Chip Campground
Sturgis, South Dakota
As each day draws us closer to the inaugural rally, the Lord has brought together a group to petition Almighty God to do those things which only He can do. In our prayer gathering, a word was given that we are to pray that Adonai; Blessed be He; would open a spiritual door – a portal from the Throne of The Most High – through which He will pour out His anointing in power on those in attendance and over this community that has seen the Adversary exalt iniquity and wickedness as desirable, as pleasurable, as the good life. There have been other words the Spirit has given; a “sacred assembly”, “light up the darkness”, “consecrate the land”, “leave the fragrance of righteousness as a stench in the nostrils of Satan”; and I am sure He will continue to share His purposes for what He gave as a vision for Christian motorcycle ministries to join in battle and reclaim what the Enemy of our souls has stolen for “all Creation is Mine, says the Lord.”
I encourage you to make plans to come and bring one other person; possibly one who does not know Jesus as Lord – or – one who needs to renew the excitement of their “first love”; and to set this “holy convocation” before Adonai; Blessed be He; in your prayers as we seek to be obedient to what He imparted in a vision for those whom He has called to use their motorcycles as “ministry tools” for His Kingdom. Register at www.lightupthehillsrally.com or make a tax-deductible contribution to enlist in this work.
Come ready to invite and welcome the presence of The Most High, to meet and partner with others of our family of Believers in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), to engage in spiritual warfare to cleanse the land, to enjoy the refreshing and renewal of riding through His wonderful Creation, and to return resolved to share salvation found only in Jesus to all whom He will place in your path.
To Him be all glory, honor, and praise. See you in Sturgis…

Angel Tree – White Horse M/M, Johnstown, PA
Hi Ron, I just wanted to share with you and all our brothers and sisters affiliated with Fellowship Riders what a blessing Angel Tree 2016 was for all of us here at White Horse M/M. This was our first year participating in the program and we were not sure what to expect. Needless to say our group was blessed beyond measure.
With the help of our church, the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, we were privileged to bless over 40 families and 100 children. I cannot help but to think of Olivia, her picture is attached to this email, when she opened her gift and saw the Barbie doll her face lite up and as she hugged the present she stated; “My daddy knew just what I wanted”. Priceless!!! Continue reading

“a child shall lead them…” – Fellowship Riders of the Hill Country
I have been making Angel Tree deliveries for several years and it never ceases to amaze me the blessings that the delivery teams receive. Once again this year, we began our journey to deliver to the children of incarcerated parents in cold damp weather and, in keeping with the Fellowship Riders tradition, we feel that this must be done on the back of our motorcycles if at all possible.
The weeks leading up to the delivery of the gifts are spent calling the recipients care-givers and learning of the family and children’s needs. One particular call caught my attention; I spoke with a grandmother about her grandchildren and she began to tell me of the difficulties the family was going through. She was travelling back and forth to San Antonio for medical treatments and struggling to get the children; Realea (3), Christian (7), and Julian (10); anything for Christmas. The two younger children’s requests were what most would expect, but Julian’s was something special. I learned Julian loved to read religious books and wants to be a pastor someday. He cannot get enough to read and his Bible was worn and needed to be replaced. This delivery was going to be special; I could tell it already and grew more anxious each day. Continue reading
Youth World Shoe Ride 2016
Once again, all the ingredients were in place for a blessed and fun time of providing new back-to-school shoes for the at-risk children who have the God-ordained guidance of Youth World to “Find your place in the World”.
Impacting the surrounding community for Christ, Youth World; through its Summer Camps with more than 400 students in attendance, After-School programs, Summer reading program, and a wide range of other activities; has served over 100,000 lunches, furnished 3,911 pairs of shoes, and children have read more than 33,526 books.
As always, everyone participating returned home with more than they brought – the memories of again being the Lord’s hands and feet and sharing the smiles and laughter of these children, especially when playing “Birdie on a perch”.
Scheduled for the first weekend of August each year, we look ahead to the Youth World Shoe Ride for 2017 and invite everyone, whether local to DFW or not, to support this event by sponsoring one or more children with new shoes for the upcoming school year.
Fellowship Riders-Lubbock, TX – “That’s How We Roll”
To enjoy the fellowship and joy of traveling together, Fellowship Riders-Lubbock takes several trips each year in addition to many activities in their community.
On June 8-13 this group of 25 rode over 2,600 miles through Wyoming and Montana while sharing devotionals, divine appointments with those they met along the way, and prayer. On day three, a couple went down and were injured; however, what the enemy meant for harm became an opportunity for God to show up and show off His sovereignty over all things. During the 1st few minutes of the crash, the Lord brought a Trauma Doctor, 2 nurses, and many prayer warriors to the scene. An hour later emergency services arrived to airlift one rider and transport the other to a hospital 1 hour away where he was treated and released. A state trooper commented that this was the calmest crash scene he had ever responded to and the brother of the injured rider explained it was the presence of the Lord. Within a few hours the Lord revealed that the riders would be restored and gave peace to continue the ride. Funds to cover hotel, food, and airfare to return the riders to their home in California were provided by riders and others who learned of their need. Continue reading
Light Up The Hills Rally (July 6-9, 2017) – Coming Together
The Spirit-led vision to create an opportunity for Christian motorcycle ministries, such as Fellowship Riders, to come together for fellowship, great riding, forums for discussion and exchanging of ideas and testimonies, worship, prayer, renewal, and re-commitment to their mission of impacting their communities and our nation for Jesus is taking form as each day passes. The Lord’s hand has clearly been seen in how details are coming together with the cooperation of the community of Sturgis, the encouragement and support of the ownership of the Buffalo Chip Campground, and the alliance of churches to name but a few.
In conversations with individuals, governmental agencies, churches, and businesses in Sturgis, it is amazing to discover the hunger and excitement at the idea of hundreds to thousands of Christian motorcyclists coming to “light up” the Black Hills with the radiance of the Son, the Light of the World.
In the time since Fellowship Riders began working with Fellowship of Motorcycle Ministries to bring make this vision a reality, the Lord has given words over this undertaking; 1) a “sacred assembly” calling all Believers who have submitted their motorcycles as “ministry tools” for the Kingdom of God, 2) consecrate the Buffalo Chip Campground for the purposes of Almighty God so that when Bike Week comes a month later that the scent of righteousness will be a stench in Satan’s nostrils, 3) that the presence of the Holy Spirit, the Hound of Heaven, remain and be released in power for salvation of the lost during Bike Week, and 4) that over time, the reign of darkness in the Black Hills be broken for the cause of Christ.
To put substance with words, in addition to individual registrations with details finalized soon, we are needing corporate and individual donations to retain headliner entertainment and offset the cost of services and facilities. Both Fellowship Riders and Fellowship of Motorcycle Ministries are 501(c)3, non-profit organizations and all donations will be used for this rally. Please click on the Donate Online button below to make your tax deductible donation.
It is our prayer and desire to see you in Sturgis for the Light Up The Hills Rally in July 2017.
Light Up the Hills Rally
Fellowship Riders, along with Promise Keepers, is helping organize and support the Fellowship of Motorcycle Ministries rally for all Christian motorcycle ministries in Sturgis at the Buffalo Campground, Thursday, July 6 – Sunday, July 9, 2017. The format is intended to allow your group to meet together, participate in devotional and worship sessions, and have time available to ride the area. Although this may seem a long way off, time is moving quickly.
It is the hope of the sponsors that this event become an annual, self-sustaining opportunity for fellowship, spiritual growth, and to consecrate this area, often the scene of darkness and destructive behavior where Satan is welcomed. We want to leave behind a presence of the Most High God that will cause a nausea and stench in the nostrils of Satan and cause an emptiness in the hearts of those who do not know the salvation found only in Jesus Messiah, such that they “have no rest” until He is Lord of their lives. Shine The Light
Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
Taking this Scripture to heart, Keystone Cruisers for Christ, the Fellowship Riders affiliate at New London Baptist Church in West Grove, PA has been finding several ways to be Salt and Light in and around their community.
Involving the Youth Department as well as many of the congre-gation who do not ride, they have been a part of a Halloween Parade where, for the 2nd year in a row, they won First Place for Religious Organizations as they passed out tracts and candy. In a nearby town, they participated in a Christmas parade where they handed out 500 bags of candy with a child-centered tract but found that they could have doubled that number – which they intend to do for next year.
To supplement their riders, they have purchased a Cushman trike to carry people, gift/candy bags with Gospel tracts, Angel Tree gifts, and a number of other uses. Especially helpful in local parades as well as gift deliveries for Angel Tree recipients, the trike relieves riders from trying to pass out candy and tracts or haul gifts while safely allowing them to concentrate on riding and communicating with the children and adults.
For the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree for Prisoners Children, 17 children; with one or both parents in prison; received 4 gifts each provided through the efforts and love of the entire congregation. God said He would “bless you that you may be a blessing” and one of the truly tangible ways to accomplish this is through ministering to the prisoner and his/her children. Still feeling the Lord’s anointing and being blessed by blessing others, Keysone Cruisers for Christ will be expanding the number of children and caregivers they touch in Jesus’ name for 2016.
The Medal of Honor: Robert Maxwell’s Story
New Christian Video Released May 1st.
Just released on May 1st. the new Christian video, “The Medal of Honor: Robert Maxwell’s Story” is now available free for your ministry and for congregations to use.
Robert Maxwell is our nation’s oldest living recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor and has a great story to share. He’s also a committed Christian and will tell you that although he wears the Medal of Honor around his neck, the most important thing he ever did was to accept Christ as his Savior and Lord.
As you’ll hear him tell it, Bob was a part of some of the most important campaigns of World War II, but on September 7, 1944, at about 2:00 A. M. when a live German hand grenade landed at his feet, Bob had only about 3 seconds to make a choice that would change his life forever. Continue reading
